The final call of the Horizon Europe programme, “Hop-On Facility” (HORIZON‑WIDERA‑2026‑03‑WIDENING‑01), is currently open. It enables institutions from widening countries (including Poland) to join ongoing Horizon Europe projects as new partners, strengthening both the projects’ scientific excellence and their own research capacity.
On this occasion, the National Contact Point for EU Research Programmes at the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) invites you to attend the following event:

Last Hop-On Facility Call: How and Why Polish Partners Can Join Horizon Europe Projects – Perspectives of Consortium Coordinators and Partners (HORIZON‑WIDERA‑2026‑03‑WIDENING‑01)

Why attend?
This event is dedicated to:
- research teams from Poland considering joining international consortia,
- consortium coordinators and project partners willing to benefit from the Hop-On Facility
- institutions with limited experience in participating in Horizon Europe projects, as well as experienced applicants aiming to better leverage the opportunities offered by the Hop-On instrument.
During the event, participants will:
- learn about the key features of the Hop-On Facility call and its budget,
- understand the benefits for both consortium coordinators and project partners,
- explore evaluation results and insights into what evaluators value most in proposals,
- and gain practical insights from successful Hop-On projects involving Polish institutions.
The programme will include:
- an overview of the Hop-On Facility rules and opportunities,
- analysis of previous call results and tips for improving proposal success,
- presentations by coordinators and partners from selected projects (including University of Padova, Bielefeld University, IFJ PAN and IIMCB),
- and interactive Q&A sessions with experts and practitioners.
