Objectives
The main objective of the project is to provide a special support for NCPs systems in Baltic Countries (PL. LT, LV, EE) to create synergy for international cooperation, virtual networking and improvement of information dissemination.
Activities of NBCC will be oriented towards SMEs to increase their participation in FP6 through series of specific objectives:
To select most active organisations and to define their profiles, strengths, weaknesses and needs
To organise a series of profiled workshops adapted to real needs of participants
To ensure transfer of best practices, knowledge and experience by experts and network co-ordination from Member States
Business in bridging Western, Central and Eastern Europe
To assure horizontal co-ordination with IDEALIST and CORDIS activities in partner search
To provide the remote help service to project participants
To prepare and disseminate the training materials on the following problems:
- Basic information on FP6
- Consortium agreement, proposal preparation and partner search
- Contract negotiation
- EU RTD Project management
- Financial aspects
- IPR aspects
To define and develop project ideas
To provide assistance during forming of consortia (partner searches, summaries of project ideas, consultancy)
To provide assistance during proposal preparation
To organise bridging meetings for NCPs
To exchange best practices
To promote existing research network.
