SIS-RRI is an international conference organised during the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and supported by the European Commission.

SIS-RRI is an international event that aims at setting an agenda to promote a true cross- fertilization between science and society, in particular its capacity to connect talents and ideas.

The conference will debate on how Responsible Research Innovation (RRI) can better engage society in research and innovation activities throughout the six following key areas:

• Public Engagement
• Gender Equality
• Science Education
• Ethics
• Open Science
• Governance

The conference will be hosted by the National Research Council (CNR) in collaboration with the Agency for the Promotion of European Research (APRE). The conference locations will be the Auditorium Parco della Musica and the MAXXI-National Museum of XXI Century Arts in Rome, Italy.

Six workshops sessions, exhibition areas, social and brokerage events will be carried out during the conference with the participation of important stakeholders.
